What makes a motor “textile duty”
Textile mills run motors for long hours in warm, humid air full of lint and fibre. Textile duty motors are designed with smooth, easy-to-clean frames, cooling that resists clogging, and bearings and insulation suited to continuous operation. Many textile drives also run on VFDs for speed control, which needs an inverter-ready motor.
